SUPERB!!!. Our wedding was perfect. our honeymoon memorable, and when we came home all we heard about was that the flowers were incredible! Jack & Rose is a one of a kind company. they actually cared about our wedding! This is hard to find in today's business world.. For anyone not to appreciate the experience at this one of a kind company is a shame. Quality, service, creativity is what we wanted and what we rec'd. We met with a few different staff members that were so outgoing and helpful. at one point we met with the owner, who was caring and professional. I can see where the tone of care comes from. Since everyone at this florist seemed to provide a level of care that other vendors didn't. Jack & Rose Long Island Florist made our wedding a beautiful memorable one. This is the place to go!

I was getting married and had to look for music, flowers, photo, etc. when it came to flowers I didn't know where to go. I came across Jack & Rose by meeting the owner Jack himself, as a supporter of a pediatric cancer foundation. He was amazing! The effort he put out and his wife was so incredible. They were so outgoing in their goals to reach for children's cancer. They have raised so much money and put in so much time for this cause. After speaking with them, I learned that they also network with other charities as well. Such professional, and kind, caring people. I was so taken back. I was so impressed that I decided to see what the possibilities would be for our wedding. I had no idea that their work was so creative, and the service was what I expected from caring professionals. Much of their revenue is returned in a contribution for fighting cancer. Unusual to find today, I was so happy with my choice for Jack & Rose. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Jack has made his team a clone of his own personality that apparently shows care and concern first before the mightily dollar.

This is our second family wedding with Jack & Rose and I explained how money was an issue, and they were so kind, and down to earth. I was blown away by how genuinely nice everyone here is especially since I had no money, and they were helpful too. I explained initially that fiance’ and i were on a budget. I actually got emotional about it because other florists seemed to laugh at us. But they served us a cup of coffee and hot cocoa, had us relax and explain what we could do, and low and behold they not only discounted so many items for us, but they gave us my bridal bouquet and a beautiful piece for our bridal table absolutely for free. I said are you kidding? Why? The designer I spoke to said Jack felt so much for you and in his heart wanted to personally help you and is not regarding price at all. He just wants to help you. Fiance and i wanted to give a deposit and they said "no" wait till you are comfortable and use it for the other vendors that you need. Wow!! You see why we were blown away. How often do you find a "human being" in this world. Jack & Rose is our human being. May god bless Jack and his staff for they made our wedding well they made it a wedding. Without them we would have had nothing. It’s like they were our guardian angel. J&R is 2 for 2 with our family

I recently used Jack & Rose for my wedding. There were so very nice. I know now why they do one wedding a day!!! They prefer quality rather than quantity. They do not want multiple weddings a day, and jeopardize ruining someone's wedding. This way they deliver a perfect wedding!! They are so caring, and extend so much time to help you. I recommend them highly over other floral shops.

Since our wedding is over, i can now give an ""honest"" review of Jack & Rose. At first i didn’t know why all of the popularity, but after meeting them they are so nice and outgoing helpful, and it continued!!! It actually got better! While my other vendors did not make time available, or were difficult at times, Jack & Rose actually wanted to see us, and over and over if necessary because as i learned....they cared!! I dont understand any possible negative comments unless it is another florist trying to bring neg thoughts about them. If you have dealt with them you truly know that they are genuinely nice people, their designs are modern and traditional and service like I’ve never seen, yes i added stuff, but I "expect" to pay for it!! Or i wouldn’t buy it!! No free lunches in life! Fiance’ and i have paid for this wedding ourselves and whatever we wanted as an upgrade we paid for it!! We actually upped our caterers bill by $7,000 more than our original estimate of $20,000 dollars, we didn’t complain. Business is business, you get what you pay for. Again no free lunches. But we both want to say that even when we added, and it was less than $5-600 dollars, not much at all, Jack & Rose was so "giving" in that they could have charged us more, but they discounted just like they did when we originally booked them last year! They don’t have to discount anything!! Who says they do? But we thought that was generous of them. Their flowers never lost a petal, it was 95 degrees, and the delivery set up service was so smooth! I ""highly recommend"" this company!! Our d.j. company got a few negative reviews, but we went there to see for ourselves. Why would we listen to a stranger making a review. We wanted to see for ourselves. Glad we did. Hey different strokes for different folks!!! Some people just don’t see or want to see quality!!! They don’t get it! But guess what? We did!!! Yes we did!! Jack & Rose and our d.j. And our caterer did an awesome job, the photographer could have taken more pictures and video of the end of our affair, but all in all they were still good.....is the glass half empty, or half full!!! Who is a pessimist!, or who is a realist, and optimist! We say experience the best and do not waste your time, why listen to a single stranger making up a fictitious story. Listen to the extreme 99% majority that praise this fantastic company. Hurray Jack & Rose!!! A company that cares and is hard to find in this day and age!! Now i can see why they have been around for 80 some odd years.

GREAT COMPANY Hired a florist from the internet, and from a website. They went out of business. Panic came in. I called and I shopped, what to do? Then I met up with Jack & Rose and they helped me recover some of my lost money. They made "it" work. I was so relieved. They really cared about me. They really felt bad and wanted to help. The owner Jack was so caring about what happened to me. He was nothing less than a wonderful person who tried to help me. He said over and over that he felt so bad for me and wanted to help in any way. I couldn't believe it. It was like he was a guardian angel! Great company.

CREATIVE GENIUS! I LOOKED FOR A CREATIVE FLORIST FOR OUR WEDDING. i WENT TO NINE, YES NINE FLORISTS. I GUESS I WAS CRAZY INSANE, BUT NEEDED TO KNOW AND HAVE DIFFERENT FLOWERS, NOT THE TYPICAL EVERYDAY STUFF YOU SEE OVER AND OVER IN MAGAZINES....SOMETHING NEW AND EXCITING! WELL AFTER NINE FLORISTS THAT WERE RECOMMENDED, I FINALLY FOUND JACK & ROSE. YA KNOW I HAD WANTED TO GO THERE AS ONE OF MY PREFERRED FLORISTS, TOP 3, BUT NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT. NOW I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID. THEY ARE SO HELPFUL IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR WORK. AND IF YOU ASK A QUESTION THEY ARE THERE TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND. NEVER COCKY LIKE SOME OTHER PLACES. GREAT FLOWERS 2 YEARS OF PLANNING WENT BY SO QUICKLY. WOW. WHERE DID THE TIME GO? CHAD AND i HAD SO MUCH TO DO, AND WE HAD LOTS OF MEETINGS, WITH WORK, AND THE FACT THAT i LIVED IN MANHATTAN, AND HE IN NEW JERSEY DIDN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER. BUT JACK & ROSE DID. WHENEVER WE NEEDED TO SEE THEM THEY WERE SO COOPERATIVE ABOUT THEIR TIME. OF COURSE WE COULDN'T EXPECT THEM TO CHANGE THEIR HOURS OR DAYS, BUT THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO MAKE THE DAYS AVAILABLE AND THE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE WEEKDAYS. ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. ABOUT THE FLOWERS, WELL THEIR FLOWER DESIGNS ARE SO CREATIVE, MANY MODERN PIECES, AND TRADITIONAL AS WELL. SO WE HAD A LARGE SELECTION TO CHOOSE FROM. MOST OF EVERYTHING IS CUSTOMIZED ANYWAY TO THE WAY YOU LIKE IT. FLOWERS ON THE DAY WERE BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED. SO FRESH. LASTED ALL DAY, AND A FEW MORE AFTER THE WEDDING. THEY INCLUDED SOME EXTRA ITEMS AT NO COST, WE THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY GENEROUS OF THEM. AFTER ALL WHO INCLUDES GIFTS TODAY. THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE, AND THERE IS PLENTY OF ASSISTANCE WHENEVER YOU NEED IT. THEY HAVE 24 HOUR PHONE SERVICE WITH VOICE MAIL, AND THEY ALWAYS CALL YOU BACK. I LOVE THEIR CONTRACT. VERY ORGANIZED TOO. YOU CAN REALLY UNDERSTAND IT AND THEY GIVE YOU GUIDLINES TO CARE FOR THE FLOWERS TOO. WE THOUGHT THAT WAS A PLUS, AFTER ALL, HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU GET MARRIED? I cant begin to tell you how excited we are. First of all, anyone to say anything negative needs to have the head examined,(saying it politely, Their contract is WONDERFUL, it is in 3 chapters for very easy reading and is typed, which fiance' and I both loved, since so many contract/orders, including our caterers was a carbon paper which we could never make head or tails out of. Next they want to give us their time, amazing! Most places we visited said where's the money and see you later. Here, they ask for a deposit, and no more until they help you with ideas, and planning, and colors, and stuff. all great stuff. The caterer told us they are the most consistent and never have a problem with jack and rose. Actually the photographer said to me that they wanted a engagement session months ahead of time and then wanted to go to a park before the church, and when I told him Jack & Rose, he was thrilled like i was his daughter or something like that, a relative or so. He said they are never late and their flowers are always fresh! I was so relieved and happy to hear that i had no worries, cause you dont know sometimes until its too late. The weeding was crazy beautiful. people went nuts over the flowers. So did we. I wanna do it all over again. Oh and for what its worth, they threw in so much stuff too! Flowers lasted til after our honeymoon. Crazy right! You should definitely go here!

MY FIANCE' WAS IN THE MILITARY SERVING. WE WERE PLANNING A WEDDING. I WAS DOING IT ALL BY MYSELF SINCE HE WAS AWAY. MOST VENDORS WERE UNCOOPERATIVE IN SETTING UP CONVENIENT APPTS. MOST WERE SHORT, WITH BLACK AND WHITE IN THEIR SALESWAYS. SO RIGID AND NOT WILLING TO GIVE A LITTLE. I KNOW THIS IS BUSINESS, BUT I NEEDED HELP, I NEEDED UNDERSTANDING AND GUIDANCE. MY PARENTS WEREN'T AROUND EITHER. UNTIL I WALKED INTO JACK & ROSE. I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT, BUT THEY WERE SO NICE. SO UNDERSTANDING, SO WILLING TO HELP, EVEN WITH IDEAS ABOUT OTHER THINGS. i WAS SO RELIEVED. THEY HAVE A NICE STUDIO TO SHOW YOU FLOWERS AND DESIGNS AND THEY HELP TO GUIDE YOU IN MAKING THE RIGHT DECISIONS. I SUGGEST THAT YOU COME TO THIS PLACE SINCE THEY DO NOTHING BUT HELP AND CARE FOR YOU. THEIR WORK IS GORGEOUS TOO. MY FIANCE' CAME HOME FROM HIS TOUR AND GAVE JACK HIS MILTARY UNIFORM PATCH OF HIS COMMAND AND RANK. HE WAS SO TAKEN BACK. I FELT LIKE FAMILY.

Oh my goodness! What a great florist! They are incredible! They spent nearly 2 hours with fiance' and me about every detail you could imagine. I couldn't be happier. They have so many ideas, and offer a special meeting one to one that tells them, or me, what flowers would work. That's great cause i had no clue. I met with Suzanne, then Patty, then Evelyn, one was just as good as the other. I said to them you have some team, they smiled and said, we have been together for over 10 years, while the company has for several decades. That means alot to me/us. My father actually called to see what happened to us since we were gone for so long. He couldn't imagine spending so much time in a florist. I can! So many details to point out. Modern arrangements and some traditional. So creative. The service and attention to us was more than I needed, and more than I could ever ask for. They are the ones!!!

I used Jack & Rose for my "DREAM" Winter wedding! It was freezing cold on our day......All I thought about was why did I decide to get married in January.....it was so cold. But I wanted a "Winter Wonderland". Well Jack & Rose delivered it! Jack, his team, were helpful every step of the way....They NEVER limited my appointments, and offerered so many suggestions. Their ideas were so creative and so "NEW" that I had never seen before. That was what I wanted. The flowers couldn't have been better, couldn't have been fresher, and were as perfect as I had wanted. Jack himself was a pleasure to deal with, as well as Patty, and Suzanne. The day of staff was so polite and courteous, but most of all knowledgeable about the product. I was so pleased I can't begin to tell you. When I saw Jack at the reception I was even more thrilled that he cared enought to make himself present at "OUR" wedding. The caterer came thru too, while the photographer was a bit short with my guests, dj kept the place rocking all night long....I am so excited.....I am married, and my dreams came true...

Extremely helpful and very honest and caring. we booked them over a year in advance and every time we called they responded quickly within a day. they were always pleasant and helpful, never pushy and never abrupt! in fact they invited us back whenever we had a floral question. They know their flowers and have always made us feel comfortable when explaining their ideas. They have a perfect order layout that is so very clear and concise as to who what where everything will be set. In fact they seem to have a wonderful orderform program clearly typing out every detail leaving nothing for guessing. Very professional, very detail oriented. I knew from the first moment that I contacted Jack & Rose that I was dealing with professionals. They first saw us after hours, Service anytime, and of course I understood that perhaps weekends were out. They were doing someone's wedding, as they would be doing mine! Prices were always reasonable, and as my mother said, if you add stuff on the price increases, as it does with the caterer, dj, photographer, no one works for free. As a professional that I am, I get paid by the hour, so as I put in more time I charge my clients accordingly. Well Jack & Rose put in alot of time with our wedding and "DID NOT" charge for any more time and attention. In fact it states on the contract that they NOT charge for any different flowers or colors or design. They were great!!!They produced any flowers that I wanted WITHOUT ANY CHANGE IN COST, its on the contract, and they were of such quality that they lasted all week. My mother cared for them, adding water til we got home from our honeymoon. As my friends and relatives called about the wedding, most of the calls were about the flowers. Thank you Jack & Rose. You are truly caring people and florist

We found Jack to be very patient as well as very creative in what we received. My daughter wanted one thing, my wife another. I, very smartly, stayed out of it, but Jack forged ahead with a brilliant compromise that made everyone happy. The flowers arrived on time, were fresh and looked beautiful. Could not ask for more (except maybe a deeper discount).

May I want to start by saying that I don't understand the negative reviews. Not to insult myself but I was totally neurotic about my wedding because I had to go through planning everything for my wedding from 300 miles away. Jack and Rose were great to me, my mother and law, and my bridesmaids who all at one point were in that shop taking care of things for me. Since I didn't know my exact number of tables when I booked, we did the contract for 13 with an option to extend up to 16 for the same price per table arrangement. We had originally had a mix of small and tall table arrangements which they willingly changed to all tall for no additional charge. They were up front and honest with me about what I wanted and if they thought it would work or not... and in the end... their recommendations were perfect. The sample they showed me was exactly what I got on the day of my wedding. I could not have asked for better service

Just got married i have just gotten married and wish to tell all that this florist was over and beyond helpful! they were there every moment for me, always called me back whenever i left a message, and allowed me to order anything i wanted and helped me acquire these flowers for no charge!!! sure i eventually added on a few "items", but they were NOT on my original so i expected to pay for these EXTRAS, but they were reasonable and always very helpful and obliging. The day of my wedding i was treated curtiously, and service was great, delivered and set up perfectly, as i rec'd the prettiest, freshest flowers in the world! i am very happy and recommend them to the world :)

This is the cutest floral shop! It recently moved to Woodbury road, but is located at the bottom of a hill, so the location is odd and the parking isn't that great. The floral selection is great and they always have beautiful arrangement. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend

For our 3rd SUCCESSFUL FAMILY WEDDING a few months ago. Now I see why everyone keeps coming back. How can success get even better. But above all we are always treated like ROYALTY! They are so KIND and COURTEOUS, but always CARING! In 2007 was our first experience which was incredible, we came back for our second family wedding in 2010 and it was even better if that was possible to be. They opened their arms at our intro meeting of our third, as though we were family, but as we went thru our designing they were ALWAYS so helpful, accomodating, and creative! Jack is such a nice person that truly cares for you and your affair. Our other vendors were nice, but they just treated us like another client. I guess you cannot buy personalization and the warmth that you receive here, but when its true to form and genuine as his is.

. Even though I am having a very small and intimate wedding, they were overly gracious in accommodating my budget with my wants and needs for my day. Definitely the type of business to cater to either small or huge affairs. Local, warm, inviting, friendly, and affordable !!! What more could a bride ask for? BTW- the advice they give on the care of the flowers for the day of is very thorough and concise, i would NOT have known about the fragility and protocol of my flowers otherwise. They really planned the bouquet to be as fresh and new as it could possibly be. Thank you !!!!! Pictures to follow
