Brian kept saying how he wanted cake from his favorite bakery. During the week he kept telling me how he was going to order the cake. On Thursday September 12, 2002 he called me at work and told he had ordered it and I asked him what did you get on it "hands off" or "Brians cake" he laughed. On friday September 13th he picked up the cake and told me he would be waiting for me to come home so we can have the cake together. I got home at about 6 and at 6:30 he said go slice up a piece of cake, because we have to go pick up my check and i want to go before it gets late. We are also going out with my aunt for her birthday. So I get up and go to the kitchen and in the fridge is this massive sheet cake. I take it out and while i am trying to cut the strings and tape he gets the video camera. i finally open the box and see "Will you marry me on the cake". When he picked up the cake he had put the box with the ring on the cake.

I looked at the cake, then looked at him, looked back at the cake, back at him, and said to him "I think they gave you the wrong cake" he smiled, then I looked back at the cake and just started screaming my head off. I dont think i even said yes, i just screamed.
